Why now
PIM stayed enterprise-only for two decades — €30-200K platforms requiring multi-month migrations. AI extraction from unstructured PDFs was impossible at scale three years ago; today it is accurate and affordable for SMBs. Cloud-native labeling and document generation remain dominated by desktop tools designed for the pre-cloud era. Industrial SMBs have outgrown spreadsheets but cannot afford enterprise PIM. The market has been waiting for a credible, modern, AI-native middle ground. We are building it.

Fastest-growing segment in document automation. Specialty horizontals exist; vertical, B2B-focused PDF→data with human review is open.
PDF Generation API (SMB)
Mature category but generic — providers do PDF-only, no extraction, no PIM context. Docfire bundles all three.

Two paying customers retained for 3 years through 5 architecture iterations. Zero churn. Stripe billing live. The product survives founder-driven rewrites because the underlying problem does not change: industrial product data is a mess, and someone has to clean it.

Multi-tenant workspace for product information and digital assets. Runtime-configurable classes, Meilisearch instant search, asset management. Replaces Akeneo / Salsify for SMBs at a fraction of the cost.
Bridge · Data integration
Visual ETL with a growing connector library. Imports CSV/JSON/XML, syncs to Shopify/Magento/Odoo. Keeps the PIM in sync with the systems already running the business.
Doc · PDF + AI extraction
Bidirectional document layer: AI extraction (Gemini) from supplier PDFs into structured data, plus PDF generation (25 label templates, datasheets, brochures, multi-page manuals). The current Docfire standalone product, now a module of the platform.
Team
Solo founder, full-stack developer with 10+ years building ERP integrations and document automation. Operating Docfire since 2018, multiple customer relationships, zero churn. The next hire is a commercial/growth co-founder to scale acquisition. Modular architecture and API-first design keep operational overhead low while we scale revenue.
